Booking & Scheduling

How do I book a trip?
You can book directly through our website or contact us by phone/email. A deposit is required to secure your date.

How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for peak season dates, weekends, and halibut trips. Please give us as much notice as you can.

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made within 30 days of the trip will have deposits refunded minus the banking fee’s and taxes.  Weather-related cancellations are handled separately (see below).

What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety is our top priority. If weather conditions are unsafe, we will cancel or reschedule your trip. In those cases, deposits are typically refunded or applied to a future date.

Licenses & Regulations

Do I need a fishing license?
Yes. All anglers bring your license and catch card for each species of fish.  Everyone is required to have a valid Washington State fishing license with appropriate endorsements. Licenses can be purchased locally at you Walmart or Sporting good store.

Are there bag limits or size limits?
Yes. All trips follow Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife regulations, including daily limits, size restrictions, and seasonal openings.

What does the charter price include?
Our trips include:

  • Experienced captain and crew
  • All rods, reels, tackle, and bait
  • Safety equipment

What is NOT included?
Not included:

  • Fishing licenses
  • Food and drinks
  • Gratuities for the crew (customary 20% of your ticket)
  • Lodging or transportation to the dock

What Should I Bring?

What should I wear?
Dress in layers and bring:

  • Weather-appropriate clothing
  • Rain jacket
  • Non-slip shoes
  • Hat and sunglasses

What should I bring with me?

  • Fishing license
  • Food and drinks
  • Motion sickness medication (if needed)
  • Camera or phone for photos
  • Cooler for transporting fish (if traveling)

Fish & Catch

What species do you target?
Depending on the season, we target:

  • Halibut
  • Salmon
  • Lingcod
  • Rockfish
  • Tuna (if applicable)

Is fishing guaranteed?
Fishing success can never be guaranteed, but our experienced crew works hard to put you on fish and provide the best possible experience.

What happens to the fish we catch?
All legal fish are yours to keep. We clean and bag your catch at the dock, following regulations fish fillet fee’s to follow gratuity.

Experience Level

Do I need fishing experience?
No experience required. We welcome beginners, families, and experienced anglers. Our crew will help every step of the way.

Is this trip good for kids?
Yes, depending on age and sea conditions. Please contact us ahead of time so we can ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for younger anglers. We love fishermen and women of all ages.

Boat & Safety

How many people can the boat accommodate?
Our boats are licensed and equipped to safely carry up to 6 passengers.

Is the boat safe?
Yes. Our vessels are U.S. Coast Guard inspected and fully equipped with all required safety gear.

Are there restrooms on board?

  • Yes, there is a marine head onboard

Fish Processing & Travel

Can you ship fish home for us?
We can recommend local fish processors and shipping services. Shipping arrangements and costs are handled separately. We are in partnership with a local fish vacuum packing service that is a great resource.

Can I take fish through TSA or on a flight?
Yes, when properly processed and frozen. Airlines have specific rules—check with your carrier.

Gratuities

Is tipping expected?
Gratuities are not required but are greatly appreciated. Industry standard is 15–20% for good service.

Location & Arrival

Where do we meet for the trip?
Trips depart from the Makah Marina, 1250 Bayview Ave Neah Bay WA 98357.  Exact meeting details are provided after booking. The boat is located in Dock Space A2

What time should I arrive?
Please arrive 20 minutes early to ensure a timely departure. We meet at the vessel on the dock.  Leave times will varry from 5am to 7am based on weather and tides.

    Yes, we love to book multi-day and multi-species fish outings.  
  • What makes your charter different from others?
    Our knowledge and experience on the water brings a high level of comfort to successfully fish the waters of the Pacific Ocean.  We laugh, joke, dance, sing poorly and smile as much as we can on the water all while treating you to the best life experience on the water.
  • Can we bring alcohol onboard? (if allowed)
    Yes, but if not controlled, we hold the right to turn the boat around and return you to the docks.
  • What happens if someone gets seasick?
    We do our best to complete the trip and fill fish quota’s for all clients, if sick we try to help support you with water, meds and rest to finish the day.
